Magic-Heat Talk Trade : Jason Williams Back To Miami???

It was recently reported that the Orlando Magic organization were talking to the Miami Heat organization about a possible trade between former Heat PG Jason Williams and Heat C and bench warmer Jamaal Magloire. In principle this trade works out for both teams, the Magic are looking for a backup for center Dwight Howard and the Heat are in desperate need of a point guard. Apparently the Heat decline the offer since they do not want to improve the roster of a easter rival. Neither one of these players bring much to the court for their current teams. Williams is a third string guard at best for the Magic and Magloire has been forgotten in the bench by the Heat, where sometimes you can see him cheering from the sidelines. In my opinion I feel that Williams might have help the Heat more than Magloire ever will, he cannot be worse than Arroyo. We haven't seem much of him in Orlando because they have a deep rotation when it comes to guards. Most likely the trade did not take place because apart from not giving another big man to the Magic the Heat are looking to trade for a better point guard than Williams or Arroyo (hopefully Chauncey Billups or Andre Miller). Plus it did not help the rumors that Williams was looking to sign with the Heat at the beginning of this season but was rejected.

  1. I would never trade for Williams, he is getting old and he is non-productive. The big cat really SUCKSSSS!! GO HEAT!!
